| The position of User Interface Software Engineer is and will continue to be a vital position in our company. The ideal candidate will have a preference for playing an important role in a fast-paced, small business environment where individual employees take ownership. The UI Software Engineer will take a hands-on role to design, implement and maintain UI features related to Solera Networks products. |
Duties: |
-Design and implement web-based UI for Solera Networks DS Products
- Provide cross-browser and cross-platform web-based UI functionality

Qualifications: |
-Extensive experience developing using HTTP/HTTPS, HTML/XHTML, JavaScript, CSS, and PHP
-Extensive experience with LAMP and AJAX programming
-Experience with OOP
-Experience with Ethernet, TCP/IP networking and protocols, routing and Internet security
- Familiarity with applying patterns in software design
-Experience with software frameworks such as Hibernate
-Experience with user authentication and authorization
-Knowledge of REST and SOAP API's
-Experience with writing PHP extensions
-Very strong troubleshooting skills
-Outstanding verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
-BS Degree in Computer Science or related field
-3-5 years UI development experience |
