| The right person for this position will be able to demonstrate significant development experience in the areas listed above and will also have had some managerial and team lead experience. Although candidates with managerial experience will be given priority consideration, heavier emphasis will be placed on technical / engineering abilities and experience than managerial experience. This key position on the Transcensus development team will require the successful candidate to split time between development tasks (approximately 50%) and directing other team members (approximately 50%). Applicants should expect to demonstrate an ability to quickly master the Transcensus SHO technology and contribute to development efforts within a relatively short time frame.
This is a ground-level opportunity for the right candidate to be involved with a distinctive and cutting-edge authoring technology targeted at an emerging and rapidly growing market segment. |
Duties: |
| 50% managing small dev team and being aware of other development technologies to assist productivity.
- Capture sales and customer feedback and prioritize features.
- Coordinate with QA for issue priority
- Lead future version plan
- Investigate outsourcing
50% assisting in product development, new feature integration, OEM branding, and customization where applicable. |
Qualifications: |
| 5 to 7 years combined in the following areas
- C# / .NET desktop application development
- C++ desktop application development
- XML
- COM development (MSAA desired)
- ASP and SQL experience preferred
- Development team lead and management experience
Start-up experience a plus
Work onsite with team located in Orem, UT |
