Description: |
KnowledgeBlue LLC offers Global Outsourcing services and web hosting to small and medium businesses and is an Application Service Provider.
This is a hands-on position. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team of top-notch developers responsible for extending our flagship ERP product, openBLUE, and working with our customers to implement openBLUE within our ASP environment. This will involve application development as well as web design/development skills. We are looking for someone with strong problem solving skills, technical savvy, and great written and verbal communications skills.
Skills required:
• One to two years familiarity with Java/J2EE development;
• Some experience with SQL and Oracle;
• Familiarity with Web technologies such as HTML, JSP, Javascript, CSS;
• Experienced with software development in an IDE environment ;
• Experienced with object-oriented development methods;
• Knows how to work in a team/collaborative environment;
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, in a fast-paced environment;
• Ability to interact with clients in a professional, articulate way.
Other desirable skills:
• Minimum of two years in IT-related occupations;
• Experience with e-commerce environments;
• Experience in problem resolution with IT systems and individuals;
• Ability to interact with clients in a professional, articulate way;
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
Platforms and Software tools:
Familiarity with a majority of the following: Linux, Apache, Eclipse, MySQL, SubVersion, JUnit, LDAP, Unix shell scripts.

Duties: |
Java application software design and development as well as web design/development.
Liaison with KnowledgeBlue's functional busines consultants
Interaction with, and support of, KnowledgeBlue's clients. |
Qualifications: |
| A degree in an applicable subject is preferred. |
