Description:

Nelson Laboratories, Inc. is a contract Microbiology testing lab. We work with some of the finest medical device and pharmaceutical companies in the world, including many fortune 500 companies.

We currently have a full time position as a Supervisor of Document Imaging and Mail Department. Hours are Monday-Friday 10:00AM-6:00PM with some flexibility.


Oversee the Document Imaging process and Mailing process. Organize and maintain an effective schedule for the department. Complete all semi and annual reviews on time. Regularly meet with the team as a group and individually. Ensure all staff is trained and following applicable SOP’s.
Additionally, and as time permits, this position will provide support for mail distribution, delivery, metering, sorting and various special projects as needed.

Candidates must possess exceptional communication skills (written and oral) and the ability to handle multiple projects in a timely and accurate manner.

Duties:

Scheduling: Organize and maintain an effective schedule for each member of the department. Ensure coverage for business hours.

Reviews: Complete all semiannual and annual reviews on time. Hold goal reviews with each individual monthly. Hold regular team meetings.

Imaging: Verify imaging accuracy. Ensure all scanning equipment and parts are maintained. Constantly review and identify, improve, and resolve system issues.

Mailing; Ensure meter equipment maintenance is performed regularly. Constantly review and identify, improve, and resolve system issues

Training: Ensure all staff is current on training.

Regulatory Compliance: Know and follow applicable regulatory requirements (GMP, GLP, ISO, etc). Know and follow company policies and procedures.

Professional Development: Complete required training in a timely manner (includes Master Control, live company trainings, New Employee Orientation, etc.)


In addition to supervising the team responsible for track and post the department metrics and report metrics in Dashboard quarterly meetings to upper management.

Qualifications:

Position requires an A.A./A.S. and three years applicable experience OR B.A./B.S. (Public Relations, Communications, Business, or applicable degree strongly preferred) Previous supervisor experience a must.
