Description: | Parallel HR Solutions is looking to secure a strong C programmer for a direct hire position. Our client is looking for a seasoned C programmer/engineer, to join and help lead in its development group. This C programmer will help design and develop core product engine and management agent for our clients current and next gen products.
DETAILS
This is a top-priority position for our client. This senior dev position is focused on designing and developing core product engine and management agent for our clients product line. Candidates should have strong client server experience with agent, as well as experience working on network communications, file scanning processes, modules that run on a kernel. Candidates must have experience with multiple OS: Linux (any flavors) , UNIX (HPUX, AIX, Solaris, or other), and Windows.
| Qualifications: | REQUIRED SKILLS
Minimum 5 years of C development
Proven experience writing clean, consistent, reliable, well-documented C code following an established style
Experience programming in cross platform POSIX environments
2+ years of experience developing within a distributed client / server architecture
API and framework development within a modular architecture
Thorough understanding of sound memory management and code optimization
Current experience testing and debugging your own code, including developing automated unit-tests
Programmatic database access via SQL queries and stored procedures
Ability to integrate quickly into dev team and work independently towards team goals
Ability to provide sound time estimates and develop software on schedule, adhering to department standards and processes
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
PREFERRED SKILLS
Ideal candidates will have
2+ years of experience developing Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL and Oracle applications
2+ Commercial enterprise software development experience
2+ years of experience developing internationalized applications
