Customer Information Architect for Online Retailer

Salary Range:$45k - $65k DOE

Description:

Parallel HR Solutions is looking for an experienced customer information architect to work for a growing global online retailer in Salt Lake City, UT.

Duties:

• Develop new customer metrics and variables that add value to statistical models.
• Design high quality, efficient and usable data models that are cleansed and up to date.
• Source, integrate and assemble consolidated customer data for use in statistical models and reporting.
• Work with database team to automate creation of effective and accurate data models into the data warehouse.
• Regularly monitor existing production customer data for accuracy and quality.
• Work with outside vendors to acquire customer data that add value to statistical models
• Act as a subject matter expert in regard to the company’s customer data.
• Assist with various other analyses and reporting as needed.

Qualifications:

Interpersonal skills:
• Highly organized, self motivated, strong work ethic, detail orientated and thorough.
• Ability to manage expectations of others and proactively keep others apprised of results and progress.
• Ability to thrive and enjoy a fast paced, dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.
• Strong presentation and team working skills. Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a dynamic environment with little direction.

Minimum Technical skills: 2+ years of intermediate / advanced SQL. 2+ years customer related data mining. Proficient in intermediate/advanced data mining techniques. Familiar with statistics methods and techniques. Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, regressions, vlookups etc.). MS Office proficiency. Experience with relational databases and reporting tools.

Education etc: Bachelor of Science in quantitative field or equivalent background/experience. Marketing or other business decision experience preferred.
