POSITION PURPOSE
Responsible for the visual/digital brand management and interactive mobile marketing development across all electronic media.

Duties: |
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To be effective, an individual must be able to perform each job duty successfully.
•Oversees visual digital brand management of MACU across all platforms and executions internally and externally
•Forges strong internal relationships with the web, product and IT teams
•Develops design for MACU website, Facebook page, Twitter accounts, blogs, and other social media outlets to keep MACU at the forefront in online marketing and public relations tactics
•Designs and codes material for website and electronic messages, including daily social media support and enewsletters
•Capable/willingness to learn Final Cut Pro video taping/editing for website content and video news releases required
•Creates and maintains company’s enewsletters, designs and executes email and PURL campaigns
•Creates innovative mobile experiences for new products, and is responsible for the design of all our mobile offerings which will eventually span multiple platforms

Qualifications: |
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES

Experience
Five to eight years of experience creating exceptional web, digital media, and print design
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, minor in Computer Science or related field or experience

Computer/Office Equipment Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, advanced skills in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
Good knowledge in HTML, MXL, PHP, CSS and Flash
Understanding of JavaScript, Flash Action Script and Flex (back-end programming language is a plus)
Proficient in Dreamweaver, Flash, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat
Managerial Responsibility
Has no supervisory/managerial responsibilities

Other Skills and Abilities
Must be a skilled cross-platform digital media designer and HTML editor, proficient in latest web tools as well as a talented print and publications designer. Solid understanding of graphic design principles, animation, and user interface design. Excellent attention to detail. Strong teamwork and time management skills. Experience shooting and editing video is a plus.
