Description:

The Professional Services Consultant provides our customers with the necessary consultative approach to our products and services during implementation. These consultants will differ between disciplines but in all cases will provide our customers with the appropriate skill and experience to ensure successful engagements.

This position is responsible for creating detailed specifications documents for customers and potential clients, supporting staff, and providing technical expertise. The Professional Services Consultant will coordinate all required activities for customers and prospective customers, ensuring that a smooth transition is made to the Global Service Delivery Team.

The individual is responsible for gathering the specifications needed by the client and managing the project implementation's timeframe, while identifying potential sales opportunities related to the customer's needs.
The Professional Services Consultant will work directly with the prospect/customer to develop a written plan for implementation, to ensure a smooth customer experience.

Duties:

This is what you get to do:


•Assist sales team through, performance of technical benefits assessment, preparation and delivery of technical presentations and statement of work documents by matching specific client business requirements into effective technical solutions.
•Maintain high level knowledge of competitive product lines, especially as it relates to technical strengths and weaknesses of the competitor's products and what strategy inContact should develop to counter.
•Maintain high-level knowledge of all other inContact products/services, competitive product lines, and industry through self-education and inContact’s resources.
•Work directly with inContact Product Management to deliver feedback from the field to best facilitate ideas for product development.
•Provide continuous knowledge transfer to the sales force regarding technical aspects and benefits of the inContact™ suite of services.
•Work with internal departments to encourage development and assist in partnerships with applications for specific product line.
•Properly document and provide feedback to sales team.
•Work directly with customers, after contract has been completed to ensure customers understanding of Statement of Work Document, installation and testing of product is successful and cost associated with work is accurate.
•Build and maintain relationships with financial, subject and technical decision makers and influencers in prospect base.
•Oversee the initial billing process and ensures initial invoices are accurate and timely.
•Coordinate with inContact development staff to report and resolve problems and to suggest new features that improve the inContact product offering.
•Review Request for Proposals prior to issuance to the customer for accuracy and completeness.
•The Professional Services Consultant is an "on-call" position and will require after-hours periods of "on-call" availability.

Qualifications:

Successful candidates will have the following education, experience and skills:



•BS/BA in technical (e.g., CS/IS/EE) or business (e.g., Marketing/MIS) field; MBA valuable/preferred, especially for technical undergraduate degrees.
•Implementation & Solutions: broad skills in both technology & analysis.
•Business Optimization: deep skills around business analysis/call centers.
•Expert Services: deep skills in specialized technical & functional areas.
