Description: |
TestOut Corporation is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Outside Sales Representative to increase sales of LabSim to Academic Institutions. A successful Outside Sales Representative will make outbound prospecting/cold calls, provide pricing, generate quotes, close sales, maintain strong customer relationships, meet and exceed sales goals. This position reports directly to the Sales Manager and will work closely with other sales team members.

Duties: |
Develop new business through prospecting and leads
Make customer and prospect sales visits
Create sales quotes
Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline
Close business and generate additional revenue for the company
Provide exceptional customer service and form strong client relationships
Maintain accurate customer records in CRM

Qualifications: |
Minimum 2 years of outside experience with responsibility for closing sales.
Excellent prospecting, cold-calling and customer service skills
Effective negotiating and closing skills required
Excellent prioritization and time management skills
Excellent planning and forecasting skills along with knowledge of account development strategies
Demonstrated ability to create sales proposals and to acquire multi-unit accounts
Proven success carrying an individual quota
Professional solution-based selling and account management skills
Excellent communication and analytical skills
Solid understanding of internet-based tools, Microsoft Office, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience
Prior experience selling to Academic Institutions
Prior experience selling IT related solutions preferred
