7 Degrees is revolutionizing People Searching by building a Universal Social Graph capturing all knowable relationships among people. Ever heard the term “6 degrees of separation”? PeopleMaps was created by 7 Degrees for this very purpose of allowing people to see the degrees of separation they have between themselves and the people they are trying to reach. PeopleMaps is the first of its kind to display a graphical “People Map” accompanied by detailed information about the person you are trying to reach and the people in your network that you can use to reach them. It is like a “Google Map” of people.
It is the Technical Account Managers responsibility to implement, train and drive customer adoption and success within a defined set of customers. This individual should be comfortable at technical consulting and negotiating with C level executives, backed by a strong understanding of their business objectives. Customer renewals are achieved by driving high adoption through the dissemination of best practices, fulfilling a trusted advisor role, knowledge of product capabilities and engaging fee-based resources as necessary.
The TAM will be responsible for implementation, training and driving adoption and license utilization across their customer base. He/she will also negotiate and drive renewals to a successful completion. He/she will serve as an escalation point for issues that impact the customer’s success. He/she will be required to maintain strong working relationships with other 7 Degrees customer facing personnel in the Sales, Services, Marketing and Product Management teams. Frequent travel to regional activities including; customer locations, local user groups, user conferences, and city tour marketing events is required. |
Duties: |
• On-boarding of new customers including project management, setup and training
• Possess a comprehensive understanding of the 7 Degrees products
• Track all implementation and post-implementation adoption activities to ensure high utilization
• Develop a trusted advisor relationship with customer executive sponsors such that all 7 Degrees activities are closely aligned with the customer's business case and business strategy
• Understand customer requirements, level of adoption of the 7 Degrees service and assess the risk in renewing the current contract
• Successfully negotiate renewal contracts and pricing
• Serve as an escalation point for issues that impact the customer’s success
• Ensure that all customers within territory derive maximum value from their investment in 7 Degrees
• Derive and disseminate best practices that help drive customer adoption of 7 Degrees services
• Participate in field marketing events within region
• Possess strong presentation skills and credibility with C-level executives
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills

Qualifications: |
• 10 years relevant work experience with 5 years experience in a technical project management role preferred
• Deep experience within CRM software industry
• Proven effectiveness at leading and facilitating executive workshops
• Proven experience in managing large, project implementations
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Willing to travel
• BA/BS degree
