In late 2008, and after more than two years of research, refinement and testing, Global Onboard Partners (GOBP) fulfilled the stringent requirements of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations allowing the application of a new type of adhesive-backed graphic to aircraft cabins including tray tables, overhead bin doors, sidewall areas, and bulkhead walls.
In 2018 GOBP began working with a few of the world’s largest and most respected Full-Service Airlines to develop a unique, patent pending digital platform designed to increase passenger engagement with our Airline Partners’ inflight entertainment systems (IFE). Global Destination Explorer (GDE) was created as a tool to entertain passengers, increase engagement and generate substantial ancillary revenue before, during and after each passengers flight.
