Our DNA Operations team is currently seeking an Engineering Project Manager, reporting to the Head of DNA Operations Engineering. We are looking for a hands-on individual, with a “roll-up your sleeves” mentality, with experience in managing large engineering projects, working with internal stakeholders, as well as partner suppliers and manufactures, in the US and internationally. This will give you the opportunity to create and build needed operations for our rapidly growing DNA business needs.
What You Will Do:
Drive project identification using a data driven decision process, utilize the data to develop the scope of a project, and lead/manage the execution of that project through delivery. You will be responsible for ensuring that project results meet the required standards of technical quality, reliability, scale, and costs according to defined scope and business objectives.Efficiently track development schedules, project management plans and keep up a high velocity. Identify possible issues, progress and successes, and clearly communicate them to stakeholdersCreate and manage work instructions; develop and optimize internal and 3rd party processes. Work with supply chain to identify and correct deviations from quality standardsWorking with internal operations, program management, product and Marketing groups as well as outside partners to deliver complex supply chain projects to the business.Build relationships with technical teams with the ability to influence change
Who You Are:
Strong communication, organizational and leadership skillsProven history of applying continuous improvement (Lean/Six Sigma) principles in office and manufacturing environmentsAbility to develop and document, user friendly, visual work instructions and other engineering documents.Experience with document control systemsAbility to filter and distill meaningful information for the right audienceSelf-motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilitiesAbility to work in a high-pressure fast paced environmentUnderstand and deal well with continual development cyclesExperience delivering projects utilizing internal recourses and outside partners A Bachelor’s degree is required (Prefer MBA and/or PMP)A minimum of 5 years of experience in leading engineering projects; Nice to have: Understanding of quality and regulatory systems
