The Role:

The Next47 GTM (Go to Market) team exists to accelerate Founders’ ground-breaking ideas into reality, shape the industry leaders of the future, and position Next47 as the new standard for venture capital firms. As a Portfolio Specialist (Inside Sales Representative) you will be part of the Next47 GTM team. You will be part of our first ever high performing Inside/Virtual Sales team. This team will help initiate contact with Enterprise customers; Next47’s GTM team drive pipeline; close mid-sized transactions; become an expert with our sales tools, and act as a thought leader within the startup community.

Reporting to the Director of Inside Sales and collaborating with the Next47 Go to Market team, you will be implementing sales outreach programs to prospect and close new customers for the Next47 portfolio of companies. You’ll become an expert with our sales technology stack for all functions of outreach, communication, and day-to-day sales activity.  If you’re looking for a diverse company with a fun culture and a platform to learn and grow as a sales professional, we welcome you to take a closer consideration.

Your Responsibilities will include but aren’t limited to:

  • Researching and identifying prospects that align with the Next47 portfolio
  • Executing daily outreach programs by sending customized personal, strategic, value-add emails, calls, and social messages
  • Using the Salesforce CRM and other tools to enable sales collaboration with the Next47 team.
  • Procuring and qualifying leads for Enterprise Account Executives
  • Working closely with Enterprise Account Executives to facilitate a smooth hand-off form early qualification to close
  • Working with peers and cross-functional partners to share success stories and strategize roadblocks through daily interactions or team meetings
  • Representing the Next47 brand with integrity and teamwork in all written and oral communication

Your qualifications and experience:

  • You will hold a Bachelor’s Degree or a minimum of 1 to 2 years of relevant working experience
  • You will have a strong business insight and a demonstrated interest in technology
  • You have a strong desire to develop a career in Sales as evidenced by work experience or extracurricular activities
  • You are comfortable with cold outreach, via calling and personalized outreach
  • You are not only a confident communicator, but also hold excellent listening skills to better understand the needs of the customer
  • You are innately curious and love diving into new topics with which you are not familiar in the pursuit of your continued growth and development
  • You are self-motivated and have a demonstrated ability to overcome setbacks, while learning from them
  • You have a positive attitude and flexibility to change in a small, yet highly responsive and collaborative team environment
