In this role you will lead a small local team driving customer growth across the Australia & New Zealand markets, and will also build and leverage relationships globally with key internal partners. You will lead the marketing function by planning, executing, and optimizing marketing activity designed to engage our target audiences throughout all stages of the funnel, and helping implement our marketing strategy to deliver growth. This opportunity is ideal for anyone who has wanted to accelerate market footprint in a start-up-like environment under the umbrella of a secure and well-resourced corporate parent. You will report to the Country Manager, Australia and will work partly from home & partly in our office in Sydney’s CBD (when restrictions allow).
What You Will DoMedia Strategy & Planning
–Leading our media strategy and planning across the funnel with our media agency Brand Management
– leading local brand strategy & concept ensuring it is executed across owned (email, onsite), paid (TV, radio, online video, social, digital display), and earned (organic social) Project & Campaign Management
– plan and execute marketing strategy around larger campaigns and priority seasonal calendarised events throughout the yearAgency Management
–Lead in the management of our creative, media, PR and social agency partners Data Analysis
–review market research and consumer behaviour trends to recommend and drive strategy People Leadership
– lead and develop two marketing managersStakeholder relationships
– drive collaboration with key internal teams based on London, Dublin, Utah & San Francisco
Requirements - who you are
7+ years' experience in similar marketing role, either client or agency sideExperience developing integrated creative and media planning, executing, and communicating results for consumer marketing, in an e-Commerce environmentExperience leading end-to-end campaign management across owned (email, onsite) and paid (TV, radio, online video, social, digital display, SEM) channelsThrive in a test-and-learn environment Clear and confident communicator, with experience in writing marketing communicationsProven organizational and project management skills including the ability to manage multiple, sometimes competing tasks under pressure, with an excellent eye for detailComfortable working both from the Sydney based office and from home with small remote teams in global territories including London, Dublin, San Francisco, and Salt Lake City. This will also entail flexibility to take calls outside regular working hours and an ability to travel internationally once or twice a year
