Title: Earnest Money Coordinator 

Type: Full-time 

Compensation: $18-$20 Hourly DOE

Job Description: 

Assist clients and real estate professionals regarding earnest money deposits. Act as a backup for positive pay in our accounting department as well as for the receptionist. Assist the funding department with approving and sending outgoing wire transfers. Additional duties include but not limited to: Track operational and transfer tax deposits as well as all incoming Notary invoices and payouts.

Responsibilities:

  • In office position @ South Jordan Location
  • Provide friendly greeting and a warm welcome to all visitors and clients to the office
  • Coordinate efforts with electronic earnest money deposits for all Metro areas
  • Communicate with clients and real estate agents regarding earnest money options
  • Check, approve, and transmit outgoing wires for the funding department
  • Fill in as receptionist with phone calls or incoming traffic as needed
  • Review reports for our positive pay system on all trust accounts
  • Track all operation deposits and tax transfer deposits
  • Track notary invoices and compare against accounting payouts.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communicator with strong human relation skills
  • Ability to multitask is a must
  • Proficient in office software (email, word processing, spreadsheets, accounting software)
  • Fast learner and able to work well with many teams
  • Must be detail-oriented, dependable and efficient
  • Willing and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Punctual, motivated goal-oriented
  • Previous reception experience preferred
