Location: Remote, USA

Job Summary: Homie is looking for an experienced Javascript Developer with extensive knowledge and experience with VueJS framework who will help strengthen and expand Homie’s web applications. You will gain unrivaled knowledge and training in the real estate industry, working for a disruptive technology company that does many deals and is one of the largest brokers in the state.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Converting wireframes, prototypes, sketches, and high-fidelity mockups into usable and responsive applications

  • Writing semantic, accessibility minded, and scalable development 

  • Writing responsive, organized, and DRY Javascript and Sass

  • Implement new features and functionality into Homie’s web applications

  • Writing tests for coverage of your features

  • Manually test the UIs you build in various environments

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of work experience in front end web application development 

  • 2+ years experience with Vue.js

  • Strong working knowledge of VueJS & Webpack

  • Regularly up-to-date with the latest in front-end coding languages, best practices, processes, and technologies

  • Familiarity with lean startup and lean UX principles

  • Able to implement front-end test automation
     

  • Experience with Git and GitFlow

  • Experience with NuxtJS

  • Familiarity with Jira

  • Self-motivated and hardworking

  • Organized with strong attention to detail

  • Willing to mentor other members of the team

  • Ability to work independently or with a team

  • Capable pair programmer

  • Very strong team skills are a must
