As a UX Designer at Ancestry, you'll work with customers, product managers, and software engineers to determine, prototype, maintain new products that can make the task of discovering family history easier and more enjoyable.

What you will do...

You want to do meaningful work and make a difference in people's lives. You love history, storytelling, and connecting people.You like taking on difficult design challenges.You have experience in all areas of product design including user research, task analysis, visual design, and interactive prototyping.You know how to validate your designs to ensure that they are usable and meet accessibility standards.You work well with other designers, product managers, front-end-developers on Agile teams.You are excited about overseeing the design and user experience for one of Ancestry's important features. You know how to make smart decisions to affect the business and make the experience better for our customersYou'll report to Director, UX & Data Visualization | UX Design & Content 

Who you are...

You have 1 or more years of experience in product design (experience in a consumer product )You have a bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.You have a design portfolio with case studies of projects you've worked on and the value that your work contributed to the business and customer experience.You have a track record working with teams such as product, engineering, and marketing teams.
