RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Technical Product Owner in West Valley City, UT. Summary: As a Senior Technical Product Owner, you will work closely with stakeholders to establish the product vision and road map. You will gather and prioritize product and customer requirements, define the product vision, own the 'what' and 'why' for your product, and identify 'for whom' the development is targeted. In addition, the Technical Product Owner will prioritize features based on business value and establish KPIs to report on the success of your product. Your ability to present forward-thinking ideas and innovative solutions in an efficient and professional manner will be an important component of your success. As you develop in this position, you will be looked to as a leader. Additional Essential Functions:
  • Technical Product Owner will maintain a healthy backlog of work by writing, prioritizing, and organizing stories
  • Act as primary gatekeeper for any changes to their products
  • Work with product scrum teams to refine user stories to ensure they are ready for development
  • Write requirements including Epics and User Stories
  • As a Technical Product Owner, you will prioritize features based on customer benefit and business value
  • Participate in Scrum Ceremonies; Lead refinement/backlog grooming in preparation for sprint planning
  • Ensure product road maps are aligned with company objectives
  • Technical Product Owners partner with the UX design team through the product lifecycle and gather feedback on new features
  • Use analytics to justify the prioritization of work and establish KPI's to determine if features are successful


Job Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required
  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management
  • 3+ years of working in an Agile environment (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Ability to read and interpret data and analytics to make decisions on how to prioritize the work
  • Experience presenting to senior-level executives
  • Experience implementing methods to gather feedback from customers
  • Experience translating business and customer needs into functional and technical requirements
  • Experience with managing API integrations
  • CSPO certification is desired
