The Business Operations Specialist is responsible for providing process and operational support to the functions within Business Operations Family.  The role is also responsible for quality reporting, analysis and audits, and for developing plans and programs to support continuous quality improvement using applicable tools.

Responsibilities vary but could include:

  • Processing banking financial transactions and tax-related corrections
  • Reconciling internal accounts
  • Researching complex customer issues
  • Providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment while dealing with sensitive information and situations

Required Qualifications:

  • High School diploma / GED or higher
  • 1+ years of Banking, Financial Transactions or equivalent college education in related field
  • Understanding and experience with Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, and Outlook (Ability to create, edit, save)
  • Experience balancing transactions, researching check payments, processing transactions on accounts
  • Understanding of balancing of debits/credits on internal accounts
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement of this role.  UnitedHealth Group will adhere to all federal, state and local regulations as well as all client requirements, and will obtain necessary proof of vaccination prior to employment to ensure compliance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6+ months experience working with Health Savings Accounts
  • Basic understanding of federal banking regulations as they relate to Checks and ACH's
  • Processing and researching EFT payments
  • Accounting experience
