Goal Zero is looking for a Director of International Sales to lead revenue and profit growth in countries outside of the United States.  Primary focus will be working with our international distributors and operations teams to significantly increase sales revenue and margins across both developed and under-developed markets.  This person will oversee a team based out of our Utah HQ, as well as in Europe and potential management in the APAC region.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Lead and hire distributors in numerous countries to maximize revenue and points of distribution across our Yeti Ecosystem line of products (portable power stations and solar panels)
  • Highly effective in presenting to outside sales teams and merchants
  • Quarterly review of individual distributors, including regular assessment of specific retail/B2B targets
  • Work closely with Sales Operations to ensure a high level of customer service for our international partners
  • Provide quarterly product and financial forecasts across international markets
  • Ability to sell high-priced retail items up to $5,000
  • Work with Marketing to develop key global assets
  • Collect, analyze, and communicate feedback from buyers, retailers, and distributors
  • Run annual distributor meetings to communicate product launches and company strategies
  • Partner as a team player across internal departments to execute and complete new item set ups, optimize retail assortments, and ensure best-in-class execution of seasonal product launches 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to work and succeed in a sales environment with multiple teams/priorities
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field and/or equivalent work experience required
  • 5+ years of international sales experience
  • Fluency in additional languages a plus, but not required
  • Skilled in analyzing inventory/sell thru reporting
  • Solid understanding of “retail math”
  • Ability to train individuals in technical products, and simplify to sell
  • Proficient in all aspects of Microsoft Office – notably Excel and PowerPoint

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:  

  • Open office environment
  • Trade show set-up, tear down and weekend work as needed to fulfill job responsibilities
  • International travel up to 40% may be required
  • Occasionally requires lifting up to 50lbs
  • Position located at Bluffdale, UT Headquarters
