Job Description


Kforce has a client in Draper, UT that is seeking a DevOps Engineer - ELK Stack Logging. Summary: We are looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our team. We are specifically looking for candidates with experience with ELK stack experience. The DevOps Engineer will be configuring ElasticSearch, parsing events, logging and creating dashboards. Responsibilities:
  • DevOps Engineer will automate code deployment solutions
  • Automate environment provisioning and container solutions
  • Application monitoring and alerting solutions to get issues to the right people at the right time
  • DevOps Engineer will remediate issues that impact the health and performance of our production systems and infrastructure
  • Diagnose and isolate issues at all layers of the stack, whether it be code or infrastructure
  • DevOps Engineer will manage build definitions and hardware in support of our continuous delivery policies and procedures

Job Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years experience in a DevOps, SRE or IT operations position
  • 1+ years experience writing SQL queries and Stored Procedures
  • 1+ years experience developing in a .NET and C# preferred
  • Logging experience using ELK Stack
  • Building dashboards using ELK Stack
  • Demonstrated ability to context switch while still delivering on commitments
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex systems and environments
  • Experience with CI/CD concepts and tooling
  • Knowledge of full stack monitoring concepts and tooling from code to system resources
  • Experience with containerization design concepts and tooling
  • Security experience preferred
