Job Description

We are looking for a talented Email Marketing Manager to play an integral role in our email marketing and lead nurture strategy. This position will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing our overall email marketing and text strategy and will work closely with our Client Development and Operations teams on overall lead nurture and communication across the client lifecycle to drive conversion. 

Responsibilities

  • Identify and segment audiences for email marketing campaigns
  • Define strategy and execute email marketing campaigns. This includes (but is not limited to) developing copy and subject lines, creating email templates, and building emails and triggers within our ESP and email marketing tools
  • QA emails for clarity, grammar, spelling, and appearance across devices
  • Ensure email marketing campaigns stay current with best practices (mobile friendly, dark mode, accessibility, etc)
  • Continuously improve the performance of our email marketing efforts via a/b testing, personalization, etc.
  • Analyze campaign performance and regularly report on performance, including conversions and revenue driven by email marketing campaigns
  • Evolve nurture strategies to incorporate additional touchpoints like SMS 
  • Partner with others on marketing team to grow email marketing lists via lead generation
  • Partner with product team on emails triggered by product actions in app
  • Partner with client development (sales) team on full client nurture journey, including lead scoring, handoffs, triggers to convert IQLs to MQLs, and ensuring consistent strategy and voice  between marketing automation and sales automation 

Requirements

  • 5+ years proven work experience as an email marketing manager or similar role in lead nurture and lifecycle marketing
  • Proficiency in marketing automation technology and comfortable working within a CRM to segment audiences and view reports. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM is a plus.
  • Exceptional written communication and copywriting skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • An ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills
  • BA or BS degree in Marketing or relevant field
