Product Delivery Managers at Homie are known as the guardians of Product Teams. They are required to manage Homie’s software implementation projects. This project management role will focus on the highly complex implementation of Homie’s technology platforms. They will own the requirements gathering and grooming phase of delivery, helping developers create a backlog of items from which to execute against. This is a challenging, ever changing role molded by the priorities set by the business. Product Delivery Managers must help developers execute the backlog, making sure that deliverables are on time with production quality. In addition, they will facilitate the scrum ceremonies, make sure projects are moving along smoothly and ensure every team member has the tools they need to get their work done efficiently. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree, knowledge of project management methodologies, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to self-organize.
Responsibilities And Duties
Servant Leader responsible for managing the delivery of custom product features to market with a relentless focus on achieving product objectives
Partners with product management and the development team to establish a product delivery roadmap and ensures there is a shared understanding of product/business objectives, while meeting established standards, procedures, and practices.
Facilitate and guide discussions on the ideal Architectural implementation of new features between Engineering Leads
Ensures that software development teams have the resources they need to deliver software products and meet objectives
Works with teams to de-risk objectives, estimate and size work, establishes and maintains a burn up against milestones to hit high integrity commitments.
Successfully communicate between Engineering Teams and Executive-Level Management.
Report and escalate issues and risks to management as needed.
Qualifications And Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Project Management, or related field.
3-5 years experience on a scrum team
Scrum Master Certified (required)
A working knowledge of multiple Project Management methodologies and frameworks.
A fundamental understanding of Scrum Framework, the associated roles, and Scrum Ceremonies.
Ability to analyze and think quickly and to resolve conflict
Experience with successful Agile techniques
Ability to work with and lead a team
Strong communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills
Ability to adapt to a changing environment
Self-motivation and ability to stay focused in the middle of distraction
