We are looking for a data-driven, media professional with 10+ years hands-on experience managing high-visible Brand media campaigns to help guide Ancestry's evolution towards a consumer and brand-focused media strategy.You will help build a holistic strategy to grow our TAM and demand for Ancestry's suite of products. You will guide the Brand Media team's agenda and have a vision for developing the roadmap for growth marketing that advances the art and science of brand media.Reporting to the VP and Global Creative Director, you will promote ideas across the organization and partners and agencies to educate and action teams based on data-drive results and effects. You will have deep media landscape understanding across TV and digital channels with knowledge of the intricacies of upfront marketplaces and has a record for connecting brand goals to affect.The Brand Team is motivated by ideas, storytelling and impactful ways to intersect customers attention through all media touchpoints. You will also have a passion and talent for ideation, creativity and compelling storytelling to promote engaging messaging across multiple high-profile branded content opportunities.
What You'll Do:
Manage U.S brand media and digital strategy from concept, strategy, audience understanding requirements including financial reporting and forecasting to ensure maximum efficacy in investmentManage a team of marketers and lead any resourcing, outsourcing and scoping of projectsCollaborate within marketing and the broader organization on annual calendar, marketing messages and campaign projectsGather, commission and oversee brand and consumer insight data and channel specific trends to inform future plansManage supporting media agencies, vendor partners and in-house teams to ensure plans align to goal, and set reporting and measurement agendaPartner across marketing channels (performance, CRM, and on-site) to guarantee an integrated and holistic approachPresent progress against goals and marketing metrics to team and management
Who You Are:
You have 10+ years in house and/or agency marketing experienceExperience in brand and audience-based media planning principlesBe an exceptional marketer and storyteller with deep experience with content marketingComfortable interpreting data, deriving relevant media insights and using them to inform future campaignsHigh proficiency in Excel (pivot tables)BA/BS in Marketing, Communications, History, Business, or Economics
