We are seeking a CRO to drive revenue through the development and execution of sales, marketing, and product management strategies.  This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of pioneering a new and compelling product offering that will revolutionize the software development industry.

You should possess extensive working knowledge of the software development industry with a deep understanding of sales and marketing strategies and tactics.  Experience launching new software products, developing and executing on sales and marketing strategies, managing sales channels and sales reps, and delivering innovative and high-value technology solutions is a plus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Coordinate with the Executive Committee in setting strategic and tactical objectives for sales, marketing (product, PR, lead gen), product positioning, markets, and market sub-segments

  • Lead the development of sales cycle processes, messaging, presentation materials, and customer proposals
  • Lead and direct sales activities via strong facilitation skills and establish a pattern of success
  • Recruit and maintain key sales channels and initiate market / product feedback loops
  • Develop and win internal support for marketing strategy
  • Develop and win internal support for product marketing strategy including pricing strategy
  • Help establish sales quota’s and develop revenue projections
  • Achieve revenue targets and other performance metrics
  • Maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction and relationships
  • Comfortable leading and managing in a virtual environment

Qualifications:

10+ years of sales leadership experience with a diverse work history including sales, business development, new product launches, and managing teams for organizational success

  • 8+ years strategic product management experience in software a plus
  • Proven record of establishing sales strategies, building teams, and driving solutions into large markets
  • Experienced with new product launch, facilitating and closing on complex sales, and scaling sales organizations
  • Must be able to manage multiple priorities and numerous business initiatives simultaneously
  • Experience in complex sales to SMB, multi-national corporations, and Federal Agency - DoD
  • Polished public speaking and communication skills
  • A high level of professionalism, passion, ethics, confidence, and commitment to success
  • Bachelor’s degree with Masters a plus
