As a Manager of Product Commercialization
at Ancestry, you will develop truly global go-to-market and revenue generating strategies that impact our company’s growth. With a strong bias for action, obsession with customer experiences and collaborative leadership style, you will establish partnerships with multiple marketing and product teams to develop and execute these strategies across our Family History and DNA products.
What You'll Do:
Define, lead and drive global go-to-market strategies for US and international markets including, market analysis, messaging, positioning, customer segmentation and pricing strategy.Help expand the business to new users in new regions by evolving our business strategy for current markets and defining launch strategies for new markets.Be recognized as an expert of our products and build strong partnerships with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Science, Operations, Market Research, Finance, Creative, CRM, Public Relations, Brand Analytics and Legal. Develop and drive revenue generating strategies with a customer-centric perspective and contribute to roadmap creation.
Who You Are:
4+ years professional experience in product marketing, product management or strategyDemonstrates consistent thought leadership in developing and executing commercial strategies, including messaging, targeting, and pricing work Strong track record of collaborating cross functionally. Team leadership experience is a plusComfortable leveraging data to make business recommendationsFamiliar with a range of marketing channels including performance media, CRM, brand media, Onsite, PR and social mediaSolid communication skills including building sophisticated presentations and story-tell to internal and external audiencesKnown as a creative problem solverThrives working in a fast paced and quickly changing environment with ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with minimal mentorship
