Ancestry is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Merge team! The Merge team develops innovative guided discovery experiences for our users.
You will be a contributor in designing of the next generation of the hints user experience and be part of a team that has the opportunity to improve the user's Ancestry experience and report directly to the engineering manager.

Who you are...

5+ years of software development experienceExperience in Java, C# or any other object-oriented programming languageExperience with databases (SQL)NodeJS, JavaScript experienceExperience in HTML, CSS, React or another UI framework/libraryUnderstanding of software development processes, including object-oriented analysis, design, and implementationAWS & Docker experienceExperience with CI/CDAgile or other rapid application development methodsBachelor's degree in CS or related field, or equivalent experience
