At MarketDial we equip our clients with a state of the art solution to conduct offline A/B testing. In short, we provide our clients with the tools they need to set up statistically robust trials to test various initiatives across their business. This allows them to learn quickly and have greater confidence in the initiatives they ultimately decide to roll out - saving time, money, and energy.

MarketDial’s software has allowed our clients across the retail, grocery, c-store, restaurant, and manufacturing markets to make sophisticated multi-million dollar marketing, pricing, staffing, and operational decisions through offline A/B testing.

We are a rapidly growing tech startup looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our evolving team. This BDR position will specialize in sourcing sales from cold outbound efforts as well as qualifying marketing generated leads. If you’re entrepreneurial, passionate, coachable, and a hard worker you could be a great addition to our team.

MarketDial is a hybrid-work company--expectations would be two days per week in our SLC offices and the remainder can be from home if desired.

Expectations for this position

  • This is an entry-level position so the most important thing is and eagerness and willingness to learn
  • Educate & qualify marketing-driven and self-sourced leads to create sales-ready opportunities
  • Master the ability to evangelize the MarketDial story to leading retailers and consumer brands
  • Align MarketDial solutions with prospect business objectives & needs
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to schedule prospect calls, meetings and demos
  • Proactively keep abreast of our industry and the technology landscape to ensure you are a trusted resource to prospects and customers
  • Acquire key prospect data from the initial conversation, from the web and other sources, and ensure clean and accurate data is entered and maintained in CRM
  • Achieve or exceed monthly quotas of qualified appointments/demos scheduled and deals closed

Bonus qualifications

  • Experience with sales tools like Salesforce, Outreach, SalesLoft, email cadence tools, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Previous ADM, BDR, SDR experience is a big plus


  • $40k-$50k base salary with uncapped commission opportunities
  • Expect total on target earnings to be $80k+
