We are looking for a skilled and hungry recruiting professional to lead the nurturing, sourcing, recruiting, and onboarding experiences at Awardco. In this agile, start-up environment, you will be leading Awardco’s talent acquisition efforts, providing critical strategic insight and direction, refining processes and experiences, and developing capabilities and tools to enable recruiting the Awardco Way. You will be an ambassador of Awardco and will be expected to professionally represent our company internally and externally. You will play a critical role in scaling talent acquisition efforts to meet the needs of Awardco. 

What you will do:

  • Direct national and international (in time) talent acquisition efforts
  • Strategically ensure that recruiting processes and channels align with Awardco needs and values
  • Evaluate and refine existing recruiting processes and practices, and implement new best-practices as needed
  • Develop new relationships and channels to improve external talent pipelines
  • Manage, enable, and develop a growing recruiting team, providing vision, directions, mentorship, and coaching
  • Lead efforts to effectively utilize existing resources and technologies, and develop strong business cases for additional resources, technologies, and partnerships
  • Partner with the People Operations Manager, VPs, and Directors to better understand talent needs and projections, and develop related talent pipelines
  • Establish clear, continuous metrics and reporting for talent acquisition efforts
  • Ensure practices comply with federal and state regulations (Civil Rights Act, Affirmative Action, etc.)
  • Consult company leaders on initiatives to improve talent acquisition efforts and results
  • Coordinate with other People Operations team members on cross-functional projects and opportunities

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Minimum of 5+ years of talent acquisition/recruiting experience, with at least 1 or more years of talent acquisition management, and can demonstrate proficiency with related KSAOs
  • Knowledge of talent acquisition best practices, talent pipelines, sourcing strategies and channels, workforce planning, offer negotiations, etc.

  • Excellent clear and succinct communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Technically skilled - HRIS, ATS, Microsoft Suite (particularly Excel), Mac OS, etc.
