The Total Rewards Manager is key role at a company reinventing recognition, incentives, rewards, and experience compensation. Not only will this role be a key leader in developing internal programs and practices, but they will also consult with company leaders on external initiatives. We are looking for an experienced, driven, enthusiastic professional to own the development of our total rewards programs and practices, refining our long-term strategies. Immediate projects will include the development of compensation and equity structures at Awardco. As the company grows, and the total rewards function expands, this individual will also provide leadership and direction for the Total Rewards Team. In this agile, start-up environment, you will be an important partner, providing valuable insight and direction, refining policies and processes, and developing capabilities and tools the Awardco Way. As part of the People Operations Department you will also be an ambassador of Awardco and will be expected to professionally represent our company internally and externally.

What you will accomplish:

  • Leads the development, implementation, and administration of compensation and benefits programs, policies, and procedures for a company in hyper growth
  • Manages common compensation functions, including sourcing compensation date, survey participation, job evaluation, salary structure development, incentive and variable compensation plan design, and associated analysis
  • Manages common benefits functions, including health, life, and disability insurance, retirement benefits, equity, and paid time off
  • Enhances the development of company wellness and perk programs
  • Ensures that our practices help develop and maintain internal equity and enable us to be competitive for the best talent
  • Informs company leaders on strategies related to the continued expansion of the company, including national and international opportunities
  • Builds out and develops a team to support the ongoing management of compensation and benefits over time
  • Consults with key business leaders to add insights into compensation, benefits, and other company rewards

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Business, HR, Finance, or another relevant field; Master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5+ years of previous experience specifically with compensation and benefits, must include experience building out compensation and equity programs for a functionally diverse business
  • Experience with sales compensation structures preferred
  • Minimum of 1+ years experience managing a team of other professionals
