The AncestryDNA team works closely with excellent scientists, engineers, product managers, designers, marketers, and others to ensure the delivery of a series of creative DNA products and features. As a Senior Program Manager you will help the team improve coordination, predictability, transparency and identify and overcome delivery roadblocks. You will have experience in a project management capacity in a multi-disciplinary environment. You will play a huge part of aligning teams and achieving success on mid to large-scale projects. You will report to the Manager of Program Management.
What You Will Do:
You will ensure delivery of products and features by developing and improving processes You will meaningfully contribute to international expansion where we are looking for 3x growth in the next two yearsYou will lead the process to guide important partners throughout product developmentYou will ensure informed decisions and governance by bringing together team members and providing a unified view of project status and risk factorsYou will help align the right resources to the right projects at the right timeCoordinate product launch plans with product management, product marketing and engineering
Who You Are:
You have 6+ years program and/or project management experienceYou have a proven track record delivering and launching productsBS or BA degree requiredYou are comfortable leading informally across the organizationYou proactively seek feedback and input from partnersYou have experience building relationships across the company to ensure smooth integration of new processes and programsYou have knowledge of several project management methodologies including waterfall, and Agile project management approaches and common toolsSupply Chain or Operations experienceAdditional Information:
