Overview

As a Sales Development Representative, you will work with our Sales team to find new customers that fit the Zonos Ideal Customer Profile. Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers.

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing leads from outbound campaigns and meeting sales quotas. You will use a data-driven approach to outbound sales that incorporates prospecting, email communication, and calling at scale. If you are motivated and results-driven, and enjoy working in a team environment, we’d like to meet you.

Ultimately, you will boost sales and contribute to our long-term business growth.

What you will do...

  • Develop outreach strategies for finding potential clients through cold calls, cold emails, social selling, etc.
  • Find prospective contacts through internal tools, external searching, and 3rd party tools (such as LinkedIn, Similarweb, etailinsights, etc.).
  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate Zonos products and services.
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market.
  • Promote urgency through a solutions-based sales approach, identifying challenges with businesses and providing targeted value around how Zonos can help.
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Account Executives.
  • Report to the Business Development Manager on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results.
  • Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans.

  • Have proven SaaS sales experience as a Sales Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role.
  • Have previous hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls).
  • Have a track record of achieving sales quotas.
  • Have experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce).
  • Are able to work independently in an entrepreneurial environment and adaptive to change.
  • Have excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Earned a Four-year degree (BA/BS) or equivalent (required).
