Engineering Manager, Web Platform TeamAncestry is looking for a development manager to join our team in Lehi, Utah.  As the manager of the Web Platform team, you will be helping Ancestry shift our entire front end development to web component based development for all our front end teams. Leading a team across multiple time zones, you will be responsible for the team's delivery. Helping write user stories and epics, while also helping to build and mentor the development team to execute reliably and efficiently.
You will…Coach and mentor the developers on the teamWrite user stories and epics for the teamWork with the directors and other dev managers to help migrate teams to web component built pages.
Who you are…3-5 years of development experience with JAVA or Node.js. Experience in large scale platform technologies such as; Docker/containerization, Relational and No SQL database design and AWS (or other cloud) technologiesAdvanced knowledge with software development principles and best practices such as TDD/BDD, CI/CD, Rest API design, SOLID principles, web application Product management experience is a bonus #LI- GT1#GDSponsored#IND2
