Our Global Corporate Communications team is searching for a Senior Manager, Employee Communications to lead our People and Culture communications initiatives and campaigns, collaborating closely with Ancestry’s Chief People Officer and the People & Places team. 
The Senior Manager will create and execute both company-wide communications strategies - as well as employer brand initiatives - focused on fostering employee pride and confidence in Ancestry. As the voice of our employees, this role will work across the organization to  exemplify our company values and foster a culture of trust, transparency and engagement. The position reports to the Director of Global Employee Communications. Will need to travel 10% of the time to Lehi / SF or as needed.

What You'll Do:

Responsible for developing and implementing communications programming to position Ancestry as a great place to work for both current and future employees. Create and execute multi-channel communication programs and campaigns to engage employees around our employee value proposition, including Future of Work, total rewards, culture, and overall mission and vision. Lead employer brand initiatives, including promoting employee engagement on our internal social media advocacy program -- and managing and growing our brand presence on company recruiting pages and workplace lists (i.e. Glass door, Comparably, Best Places to Work, etc.).Provide strategic counsel to internal partners on messaging and best practices for engaging employees and fostering brand advocacy.Support change management communications Align content with the company vision, values and business strategy Write/produce and edit communications content (intranet stories, emails, video scripts, etc.)

Who You Are:

8+ years of employee communications experience, including experience in culture transformation and change management. Experience leading employer brand and/or social media advocacy initiatives is a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including stellar editorial proficiency (writing, editing, proofing)Ability to build relationships within an organization, communicate regularly with key individuals and interface with all levels of staff, including senior leadership Demonstrated understanding of communications as a change enabler; experience in change management initiatives a plus "Hands-on" team player with outstanding project management and strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Possess good judgment skills and able to handle confidential/sensitive informationIntellectually curious and passionate about people, culture and the employee experience
