We are looking for an Accounting Intern to join our finance team. This position will work closely with the Staff Accountant owning collections and ultimately report to the Senior Controller. As an intern you will have direct, hands-on experience with many touch-points in various business cycles. Your primary focus will be cash collections which impact the accounts receivable balance. 

What you will do:

  • Correspond with customers who have invoices outstanding
  • Coordinate with the Customer Success Department regarding customer relationships and billing
  • Discuss and document best practices and policies regarding collections
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of financial data to external data to ensure financial statement accuracy and completeness
  • Assist in Ad Hoc financial projects

What you will bring:

  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Must have, or be working towards a BS in accounting or similar field
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • A passion and persistence for success
  • Experience with NetSuite is a plus
  • Must be able to work 20+ hours per week
