We are looking to hire an Integration & Automation Specialist who will be an integral member of our Integrations Product team. The ideal candidate is an independent thinker and problem solver who works well with others. Prior experience in developing integrations, particularly with an iPaaS (Integrations Platform as a Service), is a huge plus. This position is highly technical and will be responsible for developing and managing integrations with the platforms our clients are using, and the automating of recognitions and rewards based on data from those platforms. This position will also require a high amount of internal and external communication, and prior experience in client success or project management is also a plus.
 
We envision that this role will highly influence the growth and development of Awardco’s automation and integration strategy. Depending on growth, demand, and other factors, this role has the potential to evolve into leading a team of specialists.

What you will do:

  • Be responsible for completing multiple simultaneous projects and tasks on time as determined by Product leaders and/or Sales needs, within an Agile development process
  • Own the design, development, maintenance, and growth of Awardco’s integration and automation iPaaS-supported offerings
  • Create scalable Workato recipes that integrate with APIs, automate workflows, and solve customer problems
  • Build an efficient, scalable system for expanding our iPaaS offerings to new clients
  • Partner with the Sales and Client Success teams and their prospects or clients to identify integration and automation opportunities and solutions
  • Collaborate across departments and assist Product leaders in planning, architecting, pricing, and providing support for our integrations and automations
  • Assist the Product Manager of the Integrations Team to discover, scope, plan, and prioritize integration and automation projects to help determine Awardco’s long-term integration and iPaaS strategy
  • Work directly with the Technical Lead and engineers of the Integrations Team to determine necessary development of APIs or other resources and to serve as an expert of our iPaaS platform

What you will bring:

  • Excellent communication skills both with customers and within an organization
  • Consistent track record of successfully overcoming customers’ technical challenges
  • Experience defining, mapping, developing and implementing data workflows for customer
  • Experience working with large clients or enterprise-level companies
  • Experience in sales engineering, technical implementation, or integrations or automation development is preferred
  • Experience working with an iPaaS like Workato, Celigo, etc. is a huge plus
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred, Computer Science is a plus
  • Technical knowledge of REST APIs and ability to write basic scripts utilizing integration platforms is a plus
