About the Sales Operations Analyst - Reddit:  

MarketStar is seeking a Sales Operations Analyst to work with sales teams and clients in the SaaS, Digital Advertising and Media sales world. The Sales Operations Analyst is responsible for managing sales data and analytics, evaluating the general health of the sales process, assisting in commission management, and aligning opportunity sales strategy to help a sales organization run effectively and efficiently.  In general, the Sales Operations Analyst focuses on providing digestible data and insights that enable program leadership to make informed decisions. They will be tasked with identifying gaps in process & production – and spearheading new ideas and initiatives to further increase the growth and success of the Program.  
  
We are looking for a well-rounded, experienced sales professional – with a proven track record of influencing and improving sales team performance at an operational level, driven from, and evidenced through data, over specified periods of time. 

 
The successful candidate should be proficient in data analysis and an expert at navigating Google Sheets. We’re looking for an individual that can communicate & present ideas with clarity, offer new perspectives based on previous experience, and influence growth in production and performance at a global level through these initiatives – and ultimately aid the guidance and delivery against all KPIs set by client.

What will you do?  

  • Collaborate with Team Leaders & client stakeholders in identifying process bottlenecks 
  • Identify key trends at rep level, team level & market level to drive business forward 
  • Understand and master Program from a process & operational standpoint to drive improvements 
  • Performance metrics analysis to determine trends and guide program strategy 
  • Sales coverage assignment and growth forecasting 
  • Monitor and measure sales performance; conduct weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasting 
  • Generate data-driven insights and forecasts for strategy planning and media campaign spend. 
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards supporting the revenue lifecycle; proactively strive to maintain high levels of quality and accuracy 
  • Work closely with sales leadership to inspect sales process effectiveness; identify areas of process improvement and optimization 
  • Provide actionable insights to sales leadership to inform business decisions and guide sales focus and activity 
  • Analyze and present reports, which include Pipeline & Revenue Forecasting, Trend, Aggregation of Customer Insights, etc. 
  • Manage Administrative Operations such as: Employee On/off boarding in Workplace systems , workplace tool escalation process, and roster management
  • Provide necessary data points for Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly Business Reviews  
  • Serve as main POC for tool related questions/concerns  

 
 Skills & Qualifications:  

  • Direct, B2B, or telesales experience required, SaaS or Digital Ads experience strongly preferred
  • Sales Operations and/or Data Analysis experience preferred
  • Internal applicants must be exceeding metrics in current position 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred 
  • Ability to interpret data dashboards to identify trends and focus areas 
  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and organizational skills 
  • Experience using data visualization platforms, such as Tableau, preferred 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google products (Gmail, Forms, Sheets, etc.) 
  • Profiecient in Salesforce, including creating reporting and light administrative functions
  • Results oriented with the ability to motivate others and drive performance 
  • Must have an adaptive management style and the ability to work at micro and macro levels 
  • Ability to multitask and successfully operate in a fast-paced, team environment 
  • Must adapt well to change and successfully set and adjust priorities as needed 
  • A skills assessment will be conducted as part of the interview process
