The Adobe Experience Manager team is hiring a Manager to guide a team of Software Engineers developing a next generation technology stack to unify and streamline front end development. We strive to deliver a platform that provides consistent design and outstanding user experiences across all Experience Cloud solutions.


The ideal candidate for this position would have a passion to collaborate on internal web frameworks, utilize modern software methodologies, mentor and encourage pragmatic approach to development.

Our team uses Agile software development methodologies. We build engaging, compelling, user-friendly, interactive experiences tailored to serve our customers in the evolving enterprise market demonstrating Adobe Sensei machine learning abilities.


The Challenge

We are looking for an Engineering Manager with strong technical background who would want to take the opportunity to utilize their architectural skills as well as mentor, encourage and communicate across the organization.


What you’ll do

  • Manage a team of engineers following Agile methodologies
  • Interact with Product Management, Experience Designers and across Engineering
  • Drive design of the foundation of our platform to enable creation of compelling front-end web experiences
  • Participate in DevOps transformation. Team who codes it, owns it: plan, code, build, test, release, deploy, operate, monitor
  • Review and provide feedback on features, technology, architecture, designs
  • Commitment to Test Driven Development and Unified Engineering culture
  • Contribute to fun environment that fosters learning, fairness, and technical excellence


What you’ll need to succeed:

  • BS/MS in Computer Science (or related field) and at least 5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience as a people manager or leading large software implementation projects
  • Understanding of Object-oriented principles, Software Design Patterns and Component Driven Development
  • Previous experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, NodeJS, React, Redux, Localization, Accessibility, and similar)
  • Familiarity with Internet Protocol stack, Java, cloud computing and micro-services
  • Knowledge of DevOps principles
  • Experience with Computer Graphics, Image Processing and Multi-Media for Web
