We are hiring an SAP Quality Assurance Engineer. Right now, many of our employees are working from home, and for this role, we currently support temporary remote work from Utah, Texas, Colorado, California, and Arkansas, and additional states on a case-by-case basis. As we look to return to our Provo campus during 2021, we will require physical relocation for employees in states outside of Utah. .

The Role

The Automation Test Engineer role is focused on developing and maintaining automated test scenarios for validating solutions. The engineer will be capable of understanding SAP ECC, CRM, and additional systems application architecture and how it relates to business processes.


 The engineer is responsible to identify test automation needs within organization in effort to provide support, insight, and/or quality process solutions in response. Includes development of written documentation, curation of test plans, validation of processes, roles and authorization and data validation, and provides ongoing support for application users.


What you'll do: 

  • Collaborate within an agile team providing input for product backlog, sprint planning, story development and testing, demos, and team retrospective.
  • Develop and execute test automation scripts using tools.
  • Participate in development of test automation infrastructure including design, build, management, maintenance, and optimization of test suites.
  • Create and execute system, regression, and integrated tests across multiple environments as changes are promoted and staged for production.
  • Must be familiar with a variety testing concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Provide test automation software utility training to internal authorities.
  • Provide leadership/mentorship for QA practices and the automation efforts.
  • Develop highly effective working relationships with product owners, developers, analysts, and other team members.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of QA experience with hands-on participation in automated and manual testing of software applications
  • Experience with testing SAP modules such as SD, FI, MM, etc.
  • Strong background with creating test plans and improving test automation strategies
  • Experience working in an agile development process
  • Understands ERP and CRM systems infrastructure and how it relates to business processes.
  • Experience in crafting and maintaining test plans.
  • Experience in software development lifecycle especially quality assurance processes.
  • Experience with test framework tools, like SoapUI or postman.
  • Experience in unit testing, functional testing, UI testing and end-to-end business process testing.
  • Understands software testing standard methodologies.

Bonus points for: 

  • Experience in SAP Solution Manager testing suite is preferred.
