The Opportunity 

At Pluralsight, our mission is to democratize technology skills throughout the world. We are hiring a Strategy and Data Analyst to help craft, implement and monitor a digital strategy to support our SCALE customers. 


We are looking for an experienced candidate who can quickly become the go-to person for actionable insights and initiative results. This role will play a huge part in supporting our SCALE strategy. You will help design, implement and measure the impact of various engagement, retention and expansion initiatives, and serve as a thought-partner to the Customer Success and Sales leaders over these accounts. As such, this role requires a strong mix of analytical and reporting skills, along with business acumen. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role within a high-focus area of our business.

What you’ll own:

  • Evaluation of all of our one-to-many campaigns designed to boost customer engagement and help our customers maximize value from their subscription

  • Analysis to extract and aggregate insights tying customer experience to renewal and expansion

  • Write SQL queries to extract data and analyze performance against key metrics

  • Build/automate reports/dashboards in Tableau

  • Development (in collaboration with other stakeholders) of a holistic, end-to-end approach for managing customer relationships digitally at scale

  • Creation of an escalation process when manual outreach is required to manage accounts


Experience you’ll need:

  • BA/BS degree in quantitative discipline such as Economics, Math, Statistics, Finance, Computer Science or Engineering

  • 5+ years' experience working in business intelligence, analytics, data engineering, or a similarly quantitative role

  • Proficient using SQL to query large data sets

  • Advanced Excel skills

  • Proficient using Tableau

  • Experience in advanced data analysis using R, Python, other, a plus

  • Comfort using Salesforce

  • MBA or equivalent a plus but not required

  • Experience using Adobe Analytics and / or Google Analytics a plus but not required

  • Some experience managing projects and strong track record of delivering against aggressive timelines

  • Excellent communication / listening / presentation skills
