GDIT Technology Shared Services (TSS) is seeking a passionate,skilled and driven cloud based Software Developer Advisor to assist in future software integrations,research,and scripting,in support of contact center and service desk lines of business for the Technology Shared Services (TSS) ACDaaS team in Bossier City,Louisiana. Our ideal candidate will have experience with contact center technology,workforce optimization tools,3rd party application integrations,a strong understanding of software testing best practices,and have an in-depth knowledge of Agile methodology.
At GDIT,people are our differentiator. As a Telecommunications/Voice Architect **Advisor** supporting **TSS and the NESD program**,you will be trusted to work on **ACD Systems** .
In this role,a typical day will include the responsibilities below:
+ Lead (and organize) projects driving the design,creation,testing,and delivery of technical functionality.
+ Work with customers,stakeholders,end users,and other team members to analyze and identify automation opportunities,create reports,dashboards,and data analysis products.
+ Create Agile/SCRUM testing techniques in the context of a collaborative,team-based environment.
+ Implement and identify innovative tools,frameworks,automation,and utilities to increase velocity while maintaining and improving quality standards.
+ Support business growth and proposal teams by writing proposal sections,providing guidance,and contributing to the creation of cost and effort estimates.
+ Author,review,and lead the creation of white papers and contract artifacts
+ Create estimations on effort required to produce ACD (and equivalent technologies) functionality.
+ Apply technical,business and quality skills to assess product and code health,implement modern testing approaches and prevent production defects.
+ Create process,technical architecture,design and user guide documentation.
+ Lead,author,and contribute to the development of IT related,technical processes reviews,postmortems,and continual process improvement internally as well as for customers/stakeholders.
+ Help establish a highly collaborative environment that values speed and quality,and perform feature development within sprints to support the high company standards.
+ Collaborate with team members to define,analyze,understand and document business and technical requirements.
+ Collaborate with technical staff to define implementation and process best practices.
+ Grow junior talent through mentoring,partnership,and technical reviews.
+ Create and lead educational/training seminars and brownbag sessions.
+ Perform API level integrations and testing.
+ Actively participate in agile meetings with product and program management.
+ Have a proactive attitude and a willingness to "go the extra mile" to get the job done.
+ Assist in creating end-to-end system integration test cases,to use as a design for developing regression automated tests.
The position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science,or a related discipline,**plus eight (8) years or more of IT experience.**
+ 5+ years of CISCO Contact Center Solutions
+ 2+ years of experience with Verint Workforce Optimization
+ 1-3 years of experience using SCRUM/Agile
+ Ability to obtain public trust clearance or higher.
+ Familiarity of REST API technologies such as JSON,Basic Auth,OAuth 2,JSON Web Token and Webhooks.
+ Strong experience with Agile software testing process and lifecycle,from smoke test,to integration to production deployment
+ Strong organization and time management skills while working in a rapid software development environment.
+ Must be able to identify and learn new technologies quickly.
+ Excellent written,verbal and presentation skills.
* Due to contract requirements,US Citizenship is required.

+ Experience with IPSoft Amelia or other conversational AI platforms
