Our work depends on a Systems Administrator joining our team to support the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) activities. At GDIT,we foster a people-centric environment. As a Systems Analyst supporting CMS,a typical day will include: + Performing day to day Mulesoft system administration; environment monitoring and support; troubleshooting,root cause analysis and problem solving + Installing releases and patches of Mulesoft software using Unix shell scripts; managing Mulesoft Admin and Developer portals; managing certificates on Mulesoft Platform; building and deploying Java and Mule projects + Developing and managing infrastructure environment using various AWS cloud services + Creating automation scripts for provisioning,decommissioning,deploying services,and patching activities,using continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines + Understanding and contributing to solutions within the existing architecture + Managing development repositories,builds secure automation and application deployment + Building and deploying Java and Mule APIs; performing code promotion,release management,configuration management activities + Working with AWS support to escalate problems and identify product limitation solutions + Identifying potential scaling issues and helping to define how to monitor and fix them + Delivering continuous improvement of scripts and templates for reproducible deployments + Participating in release activities and on-call rotation of 24x7 environment **WHAT YOU'LL NEED:** + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science,Information Systems,Software Engineering,Business,or other related discipline with 5+ years of relevant experience + Experience with Mulesoft Anypoint platform + Experience as an Amazon Web Services (AWS) System Administrator using AWS FedRamp or Private Cloud Edition (PCE) for control plane + Experience supporting high available/high traffic websites,preferably across multiple data centers + Experience deploying automation infrastructure by using the AWS Cloud Formation techniques + Experience integrating with Microservices as a SaaS + Experience with load balancers,configuration management tools,such as GitHub and Jenkins,and common networking equipment + Experience with Blue/Green,Canary,and Rolling deployment strategies + Experience with Agile methodologies,DevSecOps/DevOps,and CI/CD pipelines + Familiarity with common open-source infrastructure tools + Familiarity with monitoring technologies,such as NewRelic and Splunk + Strong knowledge of common Linux distributions (RHEL,CentOS,Debian,etc.) + Strong understanding of internet and networking protocols such as DNS,HTTP,and TCP/IP + Must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance and must have lived in the United States at least three (3) out of the last five (5) years **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:** + US citizen or a Green Card holder + Active SAFe DevOps Practitioner or other SAFe certification(s) + MuleSoft Certified Developer certification(s),such as Integration and API Associate or Integration Professional + AWS certification(s) + Health Care Industry or CMS experience + Experience with Enterprise Portal and Enterprise IDM + Experience with JIRA and Confluence + Ability to work independently and interact regularly with government and non-government stakeholders at multiple levels of authority + Excellent oral and written communication skills,with a demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical topics to management and non-technical audiences **WHAT GDIT CAN OFFER YOU:** + 401K with company match + Customizable health benefits packages + Collaborative teams of highly motivated critical thinkers and innovators + Internal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your career + Rewards program for high-performing employees Not sure this job's the one for you?
