The Developer Relations Team in the Security Business Unit promotes API adoption,delivers SDKs and integrations and cultivates a thriving ecosystem of developers. We are looking for someone to join our team with a passion for APIs and engaging with our customers.

The ideal candidate is someone who understands both security stacks and software engineering,to engage with the community and promote integration and automation with the Carbon Black Cloud.
**What you'll do:**
+ Be an evangelist forthe APIs and integration mechanisms ofVMware Carbon Black products. You will do thisby delivering written and recorded tutorials,presenting atvirtual andphysical conferences,and being active in online forums.
+ Understand the customer needsanddelivertheenablement materialrequired
+ Engage with other customer facing teams toprovide the training they need to support API users
+ Contribute to defining key integration and automation scenarios for new features
+ Collaborate with product management,engineering,quality engineeringand customer facing teams to deliver the right solutions,and the information for customers to get the most from them
**What you'll bring:**
+ Experience and confidence presenting at conferences,training or similar
+ Passion to engage with the developer community and internal teams
+ 5plusyears experiencedeliveringcommercial software products
+ Expert level programming capability inat least one language,and some experience withPython
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to workwith a broad range of stakeholders
+ Ability to troubleshoot issues live with partners and customers
+ Experience with security stack use cases and integrations is highly desirable
+ Experience in front end development
+ Experience with technical writing
+ Proficient inopen sourceplatforms and technologies,including using GitHub for sharingopen sourcecode
