We have an exciting opportunity for a Software Development Intern to join our GA-ASI division. We are looking for a C# or Java Software Developer Intern to join our Mission Software Cockpit team. This Intern will research,design,develop and/or modify automated test software associated with enterprise-wide end-user,system level,and data management software applications. **This position is for a year-round,part-time,internship. Must be local to Layton,UT (LOCAL TO LAYTON,UT 84041)** **DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Writing and executing object-oriented automated tests associated with complex mission software application to verify functionality. + Analyzing test failures to determine source of problems and reporting findings as appropriate. + Writing and/or enhancing existing software test tools to improve usability,reduce turnaround time,and simplify results reporting. + Writing and/or enhancing existing documentation associated with automated test processes and procedures. + Will assist in all areas of software development in support of SDET objectives: gathering requirements,designing,coding,testing,fixing,deploying and documenting. We recognize and appreciate the value and contributions of individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences and welcome all qualified individuals to apply. **Job Qualifications:** + Typically requires enrollment as an undergraduate or graduate student in Computer Science,Computer Engineering,or a related field at a recognized college or university. + Local candidates preferred. + Candidate should possess strong conceptual understanding of software,development concepts,theory,and operation. + Should have a solid background in object oriented design and development. + Possess a working knowledge of software development in the Windows environment.
