Job Description

This position is responsible for hands-on design across product,user interface,marketing,and visual storytelling functions of the company. You will be asked to as an individual contributor to develop UI/UX in complex applications,graphical stories,and a wide range of visual assets. You will also manage and help build develop,on-brand,and on-strategy creative solutions across the company. + Report directly to the CEO in a design forward company (don't judge us on our website ... we are still coming out of stealth) + Graphic storytelling immersed in diverse motifs + Develop & manage company-wide UI/UX and design language + Help develop Product ID relative to the design language + Design graphic assets and internal and external-facing media + Design and implement layouts for web,digital,and occasional print deliverables - with attention to brand,design language,typography,composition,etc. + Gather requirements from internal and external customers and validate designs and assets against those requirements + Asset and content management,with ability to design CMS using best practices for the company's specific needs + Collaboratively work with leadership,marketing,UI/UX,and software developers + Must work well with CEO in design charettes and reviews + Work collaboratively with product managers,marketing,UI/UX designers,and software developers + Lead on design with team members + Working with other content creators and immersing yourself in industry content and audiences About PassiveLogic PassiveLogic is disrupting the world of automation with the first fully autonomous platform for buildings. RANGE OF RESPONSIBILITIES Design Management + Experience and interest in the entire design stack,including: UI/UX,visual design,industrial,and interaction design + Your must be team collaboration oriented. Work with the CEO,other designers,copywriters,and UI/UX team. + Strong design and art direction skills and ability to apply them solo or in a team. + Experience managing creative and graphic assets + You should have past experience creating integrated content across company from product,digital,media,mobile,while also understanding packaging,print,and environmental branding strategies + You should demonstrate continual self-investment in the field of Design,building your skills,and the tools of design + Interest in human centered design,sustainability,impact,or green building UI/UX Design + Strong experience with UI/UX applications (Sketch,Figma,Invision,XD,etc) + Experience with managing UI/UX across large scale software products. + Familiarity with web development technologies (HTML5,CSS3 & Javascript) Graphic Design + You must have excellent Illustration skills + You must have excellent document design skills + Strong experience in wielding the tools of design (i.e. Adobe Suite,Sketch,Affinity,etc) + You must have breadth in tools and capabilities. Be able to tell us when and why you use tools outside the Adobe CC suite. + Strong understanding of color management & color calibrated workflows Industrial Design + 3D design experience (Autodesk Inventor,Solidworkds,Rhino,etc) + Experience executing on a consistent design language 3D Design & CAD + You should have experience designing concept illustrations in 3D + Experience with 3D product visualization (Keyshot,Maya,3Max,etc.) + Familiarity with architectural software (Revit,Chief Architect,Archicad) Video and Animation + Experience with animation production and/or video (Motion,After effects,Final Cut Pro) + Experience with compositing,and 2D/2.5D/3D compositional workflows Compensation,Perks,& Benefits: + Competitive compensation + Equity share + Medical,dental,vision,401k,and PTO + Well stocked break room and catered lunches + Free ski passes available (We are at the base of Big Cottonwood Canyon) + Free National Park passes available + Must be diligent and get work done,but we do respect powder days To Apply for this position With your introduction and resume,include a portfolio that demonstrates at a minimum: + An ability to execute a consistent design language + Demonstrate breadth of design experience,skill & style + Demonstrate your mastery of the tools of design
