Work with talented team of developers, researchers and clinicians in the University of Utah Division of Epidemiology to build application systems in an agile/scrum environment. Architect for tenant analytic environments within the VA Corporate Data Warehouse infrastructure. Responsible for stage and data mart modeling, ETL patterns and daily load operations as well as reporting and cube implementations. Supports prototype data engineering projects through tuning and augmentation. Responsible for reliability engineering of growing services and working new elements into a unified model. Supporting ongoing data quality efforts through metadata management and ETL automation. Responsible for the integration and adoption of new features in defined software toolkits. Must be a proficient data engineer familiar with Microsoft Business Intelligence stack. Experience in TSQL and SSIS required with SSRS, SSAS and Pyramid Analytics preferred. Familiar with Kimball Data Warehouse concepts in both modeling and ETL processing. Previous experience within the VA data system and/or with healthcare data preferred.
