The Regional Support Consultant will work work with the regional team to support efforts in local markets for UnitedHealthcare Medicare & Retirement.  This role will have two primary responsibilities: to be responsible for helping to prepare presentations and reporting to be shared with market, regional and national leaders, and acting as a project manager for various projects impacting our business that come up from time to time. This role will be working with UHC regional and market leaders and health plan executives to drive for progress on key projects and initiatives.  This role will be helping to solve UHG’s most complex problems today and helping make a better experience for our members. This work will require collaboration with UHC business unit leaders, provider-facing field teams, and enterprise operational teams.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Partner with regional leaders to prepare reporting and presentations on results related to quality programs, coding accuracy programs, market and regional updates
  • Prepare quarterly business reviews and monthly business update materials in tandem with regional leadership       
  • Give feedback and work to improve existing PowerPoint decks, Excel sheets and other documents and data for maximum clarity and impact
  • Editing and revising existing materials or drafts for final presentation
  • Act as expert on how to best present and prepare materials for all members and teams on regional team
  • Develop/plan, track, manage, and follow up on campaigns and initiatives and campaigns deemed to have value for our markets, members and region
  • Coordinate special projects within our matrixed environment, involving pertinent individuals as appropriate
  • Lead other special projects and/or activities as requested by national, regional, and market leadership
  • Develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships within UHC Government Programs, including executives, regional and national leaders

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years’ experience in working on project teams (or project lead) and presenting updates and/or speaking to results
  • 3+ years of experience in data analytics, marketing, graphic design, and/or preparing materials to be presented to leaders/executives/clients
  • Advanced demonstrated use in Power Point (create, revise, polish PP decks)
  • Intermediate demonstrated use in Excel (utilize date to create charts/graphs, pivot tables, apply to PP decks)
  • Telecommuter based position with < 10% travel
  • Willing and able to work within Pacific Time Zone

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in project management
  • Excellent writing skills (demonstrated writing skills; apply data and numbers to create a story)
  • Solid communication skills
  • Demonstrated solid facilitation and organizational development skills
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and be flexible in response to shifting priorities and multiple clients\

Colorado Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $79,700 to $142,600.
