Overview Installs, configures, upgrades, patches, troubleshoots, and monitors service bus middleware messaging and application server environments.  Maintains middleware messaging and application servers for integrity, security, performance, load balancing, and capacity planning.  Participates in planning, implementing, and testing messaging and application server infrastructure business continuity and disaster recovery plans.  Supports web service and application developers throughout the software development lifecycle.  Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective communication, coordination, and working relations with staff and management, and vendors.  Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish objectives.  Performs a variety of tasks.
