Job Description:
The Senior Specialist Test Engineer is responsible for performing manual and automated test system development,maintenance,troubleshooting,and repair tasks to meet program technical,schedule,and cost objectives regarding the test of a wide variety of acoustic transducers and systems.
Essential Functions:
+ Implementation of manual and automated commercial off-the-shelf (COTS)-based electromechanical test systems from the requirements and design phases through development,documentation,and validation
+ Troubleshooting,maintenance,and repair of test systems to ensure optimal readiness and reduce downtime
+ Use and automation of test equipment related to acoustic transducers,systems,and sub-assemblies such as signal generators,digitizers,power supplies,multimeters,impedance analyzers,hi-pot testers,insulation resistance meters,etc.
+ Creation and revision of test plans and procedures
